Our Mission
Enshrine is built for adults seeking genuine connection. These Community Guidelines explain the behavior and content standards required to use the Service.
Violations may lead to content removal, warning, feature restriction, temporary suspension, pending review, permanent ban, or other action depending on context, severity, history, legal obligations, and user safety.
1. Be Yourself
- Use accurate information about yourself.
- Use current photos that show you and do not mislead others.
- Do not impersonate another person or entity.
- Do not create multiple accounts without permission.
- Do not use AI-generated photos, videos, audio, or messages to deceive or manipulate users.
- Do not evade verification, liveness checks, bans, or pending reviews.
2. Respect Others
- Treat other members with dignity.
- Do not harass, bully, stalk, threaten, intimidate, shame, or abuse another person.
- Do not send unwanted sexual messages or images.
- Do not continue contacting someone who has unmatched, blocked, rejected, or asked you to stop.
- Do not pressure anyone for dates, sexual activity, money, images, personal information, or continued conversation.
3. Safety First
- Never send money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, account credentials, financial information, or identity documents to someone you met on the App.
- Be cautious when sharing personal details, workplace details, home address, routine, or private contact information.
- Meet in public places for first meetings.
- Use in-app reporting tools for suspicious, unsafe, abusive, or illegal behavior.
- If you are in immediate danger, contact emergency services first.
4. Photo, Image, and Video Standards
- Profile photos must be appropriate for a general adult dating audience.
- No nudity, sexually explicit material, graphic sexual content, graphic violence, or exploitative content.
- Do not share images or videos of another person without that person's consent.
- Do not share screenshots or private conversations publicly without consent.
- Live video sessions must follow these standards in real time.
- Chat images may be blocked, blurred, rejected, or placed in review by automated or human safety systems.
5. Prohibited Conduct
The following are prohibited on Enshrine:
- Minors and child safety: Any sexual, exploitative, grooming, coercive, or endangering content or conduct involving minors.
- Non-consensual intimate content: Sharing, threatening to share, requesting, or distributing intimate images without consent.
- Sexual harassment: Unwanted sexual content, coercion, pressure, explicit messages, or sexualized abuse.
- Violence and threats: Threats, credible intimidation, incitement, terrorism, violent extremism, or promotion of physical harm.
- Self-harm: Encouraging, instructing, or glorifying suicide, self-harm, eating disorders, or dangerous challenges.
- Hate and dehumanization: Attacks or demeaning content based on race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, caste, or other protected status.
- Exploitation and trafficking: Human trafficking, coercion, blackmail, sextortion, commercial sexual exploitation, or similar abuse.
- Illegal activity: Coordinating, soliciting, or promoting illegal conduct through the Service.
- Scams and manipulation: Romance scams, phishing, fake emergencies, investment schemes, identity theft, or deceptive solicitation.
- Commercial misuse: Spam, unauthorized advertising, MLM recruitment, escort services, sex work, "sugar" relationships, or sales solicitation.
- Platform abuse: Bots, scraping, reverse engineering, malicious code, harassment through reports, false reports, or attempts to bypass enforcement.
- Rights violations: Content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
6. Child Sexual Abuse Material and Serious Harm
Child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation of minors, grooming, sextortion, and other child-safety threats are forbidden.
When Enshrine becomes aware of content or conduct that appears to involve child sexual exploitation or other serious harm, we may remove or preserve content, restrict accounts, escalate internally, cooperate with law enforcement or emergency services, and report to appropriate authorities or organizations where required or appropriate.
7. Reporting and Review
Use the Report button on a profile, message, or relevant screen when available. You can also contact compliance@enshrine.cc for safety issues.
Reports are reviewed by trust and safety personnel or administrators. We aim to review reports promptly, typically within five business days, but urgent safety matters, legal issues, technical problems, or high volume may affect timing.
We may not disclose the outcome of a report if doing so would affect another user's privacy, safety, legal rights, or an investigation.
Repeated malicious or knowingly false reports may lead to enforcement action.
8. Enforcement Ladder
Enshrine considers severity, context, user history, evidence, safety risk, legal obligations, and whether the violation appears intentional.
| Severity | Possible Action |
|---|---|
| Minor or first-time issue | Warning, content removal, education, or feature limitation |
| Moderate or repeated issue | Temporary restriction, temporary suspension, content review, or account hold |
| Severe issue | Permanent ban, device or email blocking, safety preservation, or escalation |
| Serious safety or legal issue | Immediate restriction, permanent ban, law-enforcement cooperation, or other protective action |
Some automated systems may block an upload, blur an image, flag content, or place an account in review before a human decision is complete.
9. Ban Evasion and Face-Match Review
If Enshrine detects a possible match to a previously banned account through safety systems, the account may be held in pending review. A human reviewer decides whether to clear the hold, continue review, or take enforcement action.
Trying to evade a ban, create replacement accounts, or bypass liveness or verification checks may result in permanent removal.
10. Off-Platform Conduct
Conduct outside the App may lead to enforcement if it involves Enshrine users, affects user safety, involves alleged harm between members, shows a serious risk to the community, or relates to misuse of the Service.
When reviewing off-platform conduct, Enshrine may consider available evidence, user reports, public information, legal process, and safety risk. Enforcement may occur even if the conduct did not happen inside the App.
11. Appeals
If your account is suspended or banned and you believe the action was wrong, you may appeal once per enforcement incident through the link or instructions in your enforcement notice, through an in-app appeal flow if available, or by emailing compliance@enshrine.cc.
Appeals are reviewed by a human moderator, typically within seven days. Complex safety, identity, legal, or technical issues may take longer.
12. Safety Resources
If you are in immediate danger, contact emergency services.
- United States emergency: 911
- Canada emergency: 911
- National Domestic Violence Hotline: 1-800-799-SAFE (7233)
- Crisis Text Line: Text HOME to 741741

13. Updates
